Anchor Hocking Piggy Bank

This vintage Piggy bank was made by Anchor Hocking sometime after 1968. It is marked on the underside with an anchor in a square, which was the Anchor Hocking logo introduced in that year. It is in clear glass, with a stippled decoration to showcase the feet and body of the pig. It measures 6 1/2″ long, is 5 1/2″ tall, and approximately 4″ wide. There is a slot in the top to add coins, but no plug in the bottom to retrieve them! So in this case you really would have to “break the bank” to buy your next treasure!
