Atlas China Stoke on Trent Grimwade

Made just after the war from 1919-24, this open sugar bowl is in wonderful condition! The pattern features a tree with orange, blue, green and yellow balls, and a butterfly, and gold trim on the rim. It was made by Atlas China, Grimwade, Stoke on Trent, England. The back stamp features a figure with an orb on it’s back, with Grimwade in a banner across it, all in black. 9749 is handwritten in green. It measures 2 5/8″ across the opening, and is 1 3/4″ high. It has no chips, cracks or repairs, with minimal wear to the gold.
