Bagley Art Deco Horseshoe Bloom Trough
Bagley & Co was formed in 1891 in Yorkshire, England as a bottle making factory, branching out to pressed glassware in 1921. This horseshoe shaped bloom trough, or posy vase was made in the late 1920s-30s. It is of a pale green frosted glass held in a delicate looking metal frame of detailed leaves with ball feet. The glass fluoresces under black light. It measures 7″ long and is 6 1/2″ wide. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
