Chubu China Cherry Exclusive Cup with Saucer

This  stunning teacup and saucer was made in the 1940s, just before Japan was occupied. It was a Cherry Exclusive by Chubu China. These Exclusive patterns were generally limited productions. This pattern features heavy stippled gilt on pink with grey leaves and a floral center. All of the flowers are outlined in gilt as well. The back stamp reads Chubu China, Cherry Exclusive S170. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
