Fenton Colonial Blue Thumb Print Bon Bon
$28.00
Fenton first introduced the Colonial colors in 1963, and they were continued into the mid 1980s. They were made in amber, green, orange, ruby and blue, and were available in numerous patterns, such as Hobnail, Thumb Print, Daisy and Button, Rose and Valencia, to name a few. This Thumb Print bon bon or candy dish was made in 1964. It measures 7 3/4″ in diameter and stands 2 1/4″ high on a footed base. It has a double crimped rim with two rows of “Thumb Prints” below. These continue in the bottom of the bowl in a circular pattern. Like all Fenton made prior to the early 1970s, it is unmarked. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
