Fenton Hobnail Milk Glass Basket

The Hobnail pattern is a long running and popular pattern made by Fenton beginning in 1939. In 1972 and 73, they began marking their Hobnail and other glassware with the name Fenton in an oval embossed on the pieces. This basket bears that mark, so it can be dated to sometime after that time frame. It stands 7 3/4″ high on a footed base, and is 7 1/2″ in diameter. It has a ruffled rim and a notched handle. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
