Fostoria Mayfair Rose Pink Relish Tray

Mayfair is an Art Deco pattern that was designed for Fostoria by George Sakier, and is pattern #2419. First introduced in 1930, it was in production until 1943. It was produced in crystal (clear), green, amber, Topaz/Gold Tint and Rose, with limited production in Wisteria, Ruby and Silver Mist. It was also produced in Ebony in plates and saucers from 1931-34. to compliment and coordinate with the colors for a dramatic table setting, so fitting for the Art Deco period. This Rose (pink) 4 part relish measures 10 1/2″ long from handle to handle, 8 5/8″ wide and stands 1 1/2″ high at the rim. It has notched corners and open handles with a ground base. It is in excellent, near mint condition.
