Green Depression Glass Elephant

Hocking Glass merged with Anchor Cap & Closure Company in 1937 to form Anchor Hocking Glass Company. This green glass elephant candy dish was made sometime prior to that time. It measures 6″ long, is 4 1/4″ high and is 2 1/2″ wide. There is  a small nick from the rim of the body. The lid has 1 nick from the tail end and 3 small chips and a nick from the underside of the lid at the head end. None of these can be seen when the lid is in place. It has been discounted because of these issues. Whether you collect elephants, green depression glass, or glass animals, this is a great piece to add to your collection!
