Hazel Atlas Little Hostess Blue Cup and Saucer

Hazel Atlas produced Moderntone Platonite from the 1940s to the early 1950s. Little Hostess Party Sets were from the early 1950s and were available in 5 different sets of colors. These included pink/black & white; lemon/beige/pink & aqua; grey/rust/gold & turquoise; green/grey/chartreuse& burgundy and finally pastel pink/green/blue & yellow. This cup and saucer belongs to the last grouping. The cup measures 2 3/4″ long, is 2 1/8″ in diameter and stands 1 3/4″ high. The saucer is 3 7/8″ in diameter and is 1/4″ high at the rim. The cup is pastel blue with a white interior, and the saucer is pastel blue with a white underside. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
