Hazel Ware Capri Dots Cup and Saucer

Although made in a few different forms, all of the Capri line is in the same Azure blue. If it isn’t Azure, it isn’t Capri, even if the shape is the same.  It was made by Hazel Ware, a division of the Continental Can Company, in the 1960s. This cup and saucer set is called Hobnail, or Dots, the name commonly used. The cup measures 4 3/8″ long to the tip of the handle, is  3 5/8″ in diameter and stands 2 1/2″ high to the rim. The saucer is 5 3/8″ in diameter with the rim 7/8″ high, with an indent. The Dots, or Hobnails, are raised on the inside with the outside being smooth. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
