Hocking Old Cafe Royal Ruby Candy Dish

Old Café is a relatively small depression glass line, consisting of only 17 items made in that pattern. It was only made in crystal (clear), pink and royal ruby, and was made from 1936-40. This is called a low candy dish, but could easily be used for any delicacies you wanted to showcase, simply because of the deep rich red of the glass. It measures 8″ across including the tab handles, 7 3/4″ in diameter and stands 1 1/4″ high. The pattern is embossed on the outside of the plate, so the inside surface is smooth, as is all of the Old Café line. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
