Imperial Candlewick Basket Cornflower Cut

This hard to find beautifully made and decorated basket was produced by Imperial Glass from the 1940s to the early 1950s. It is number 400/273 of the Candlewick pattern, and is decorated with a ten petal Corn Flower cut  by W.J. Hughes. (I have spelled Corn Flower as two separate words, as that is the way the advertising was spelled when it was introduced). It has a beaded handle and the well known Candlewick beading around the rim. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
