L E Smith Amberina Glass Candy Dish

Often misidentified as Viking Art Glass, this Simplicity #3804 pattern covered candy dish and lid was made by L.E. Smith in 1965. Viking did not make a petal shaped foot. It is pictured in green on page 197 in “L.E. Smith Glass Company, the First 100 years” by Tom Felt. It measures 6 3/4″ tall without the lid, and approximately 10 1/2″ tall with the lid. It is 6″ in diameter with a 4″ petal shaped foot. The color is amberina, called Flame by L.E. Smith. It is in excellent, near mint condition.
