Moon and Star Cake Plate-Flame

Moon and Star is a popular pattern made by several companies. This No. 5232 skirted flame or amberina cake plate was made by L. E. Smith from 1962-82. It was also made in amber, antique green, colonial blue and plum. It was reissued in crystal (clear) in 1998-2002. This is a heavy glass piece, weighing in at over 5 lbs! It measures 11″ in diameter and stands 6 3/8″ tall. There is a small patch of roughness from one of the bottom scallops on the base, and a tiny fleabite but no other chips, cracks or repairs.
