Northwood Carnival Glass Master Bowl
Production on this Carnival Glass pattern, called Peacock at the Fountain, began in 1912. This master berry bowl measures 8 7/8″ in diameter by 3 7/8″ high. It was made by Northwood and bears the N in a circle mark on the bottom of the bowl. It is amethyst in color with a scalloped rim and straight sides. It has some straw marks and manufacturers flaws in the bottom, and the iridescent color on the inside is slightly spotty, natural for it’s age, but it is in otherwise excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is a beautiful bowl, and the colors are deep and rich. A great addition to any collection!
