Tiffin Glass Pitcher Corn Flower Cut

$125.00

This beautiful pitcher was made by Tiffin Glass Company and is their pattern #011, probably from the 1930s-mid 40s. It features the Corn Flower cut from W J Hughes. It measures 8 7/8″ tall, is 5 1/4″ in diameter and 7″ long with the handle and holds 48 oz. It has 2 large Corn Flower cuts with buds on each side, a large star in the bottom, dots on the handle  and a cut beaded rim. The beading was not in use after 1953, and the bud wasn’t used much after the early 1950s. It is pictured on page 90 of the book ” Elegant Glass with Corn Flower” by Walter T. Lemiski. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
