Totem Pole Redware Teapot Set

Although this redware four piece teapot set is unmarked, it was probably made in Japan and imported sometime in the 1950s-60s. It has a high gloss deep brown glaze with cold paint decorating the Totem symbols on both the cups and the teapot. The cups stack in the lid opening of the teapot, and the lid fits both on the cups and the pot. The teapot measures 6 1/2″ long, is 3 7/8″ in diameter and stands 2 5/8″ to the rim. It is 3 1/2″ tall with the lid in place, perfect for tea for two! The cups, (two of course!) are 3 3/8″ long, 2 3/4″ in diameter and just 1 3/8″ to the rim. There is some loss of the cold paint , normal wear for a piece of this age, but all pieces are free of chips, cracks or repairs.
