Vintage Japanese Lusterware Snack Set

This beautiful and delicate snack set was made in Japan sometime during the 1940s-50s. It has a bold design of red, blue and yellow flowers with black trim. The interior of the cup has a peach luster finish, and is so thin that the exterior decoration can be seen through it. The underside of the tray is simply marked Made in Japan. The tray measures 10 1/4″ wide with and indent for the cup and a tab handle. The cup is 4 1/4″ long, is 3 5/8″ in diameter and stands 2″ high at the rim. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
