Westmoreland Thousand Eye Vase
Thousand Eye is probably the best known of Westmoreland Glass product lines next to milk glass. It was introduced in 1934 and was produced until 1956. Fairy lamps were continued into the 1970s. It was made in crystal (clear), crystal with pale burgundy (replaced with a more intense shade in later years), champagne (yellow) and green/blue lustre stain. In 1952, black turtles were produced. This is a crystal vase from that line. It stands 5 3/4″ tall on a flat base and is 2 7/8″ in diameter with a crimped rim. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
