Antique Ernst Bohne German Figurine

This beautiful Capodimonte style figurine was made by Ernst Böhne & Söhne of Rudolstadt, Germany. It features a man in a hat, frock coat and leggings carrying 2 chairs with tears and broken legs. The detail, from the expression on his face to the rips in the chairs, is exquisitely done. It is marked in blue with an N under a five pronged crown, the mark used by Ernst Böhne & Söhne in the late 1800s & early 1900s. Measuring 8 1/4″ tall and 5 inches wide, it stands on a base of 3 3/4″ long and 3″ wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
