Blue Mikado Boxed Steak Knife Set

Blue Mikado was introduced in Pattern Book 9 as pattern 4001 on the Dover shape in the 1920s. This popular blue and white pattern was later made on the Ely/Chelsea shape and remained in this style until the pattern was retired in 1997. This boxed set of 6 steak knives are in the original, monogrammed box. Each knife has the Blue Mikado pattern on the handle, and are marked Royal Crown Derby on the blade. All are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, but one blade has an imperfection on one of the knife teeth. The box has some wear, as expected with age.
