Also called Ballerina and Dancing Girl, this Cameo patterned oval platter was made from 1930-34 by Hocking Glass. The pattern features a figure dancing in a cameo around the rim. There is speculation that it was named after the famous American dancer, Isadora Duncan, who died tragically in 1927. The pattern was made in green, pink, yellow and crystal, with only crystal having a platinum rim. This green platter measures 12″ long, is 7 7/8″ wide, and is 1″ high. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
