Cherry Blossom Green Glass Tray

Although the branch in the Cherry Blossom pattern runs left to right, instead of up and down, when holding the handles,  as in most authentic two handled trays in this pattern, we believe this is not a reproduction. The cherries and leaves have great detail, as seen in the close up view, and the tray weighs in at 1.79 lbs, not the 2 1/8 lbs of the newer issues. This tray measures 12 5/8″ including the handles, and 10 1/4″ in diameter. It has one barely there fleabite in the rim, and a few light utensil marks, but is otherwise in excellent condition. This pattern was made by Jeannette Glass from 1930-39.
