Clarice Cliff Tonquin Rim Soup

Clarice Cliff was a designer who worked in several English factories, including Royal Staffordshire, the makers of this rim soup bowl. The pattern is called Tonquin, a transferware pattern made in the 1940s and 50s. This bowl measures 8″ in diameter and is 1 1/2″ high. It is back stamped “Tonquin” Royal Staffordshire, Dinnerware by Clarice Cliff, Made in England. It is in excellent, near mint condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Clarice Cliff died in 1972
