Dresden Lace Sandizell Figurine

This wonderfully delicate ballerina figurine was made by Höffner & Company of Sandizell Germany. It is in the Dresden style with a pink lace trimmed skirt with a double row of ruffle and a white lace crinoline. She has one armed raised and the other draped over her skirt. She has a white bodice with lace trim and gold slippers, with 2 roses at her feet. She stands 3 7/8″ tall, is 3″ wide and 3 1/4″ long. She bears the mark used by this company during the 1960s, and you can read about the company history here. She has a break on the lower ruffle beneath her raised hand, but her body and hands are intact. A delightful addition to your collection!
