Fenton Blue Opalescent Hobnail Candleholder

Fenton first introduced the Hobnail pattern in 1939. Examples of this pattern in Blue Opalescent often date from about 1940-50s. This miniature cornucopia is style No. 3971, and dates from 1940-57. It measures 3 3/4″ tall, and is 3″ long and wide and can hold a small taper candle. It is light blue with a smooth opalescent tulip rim and an oval base measuring 2″ long and 1 7/8″ in diameter. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
