Fenton Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail Pitcher

Cranberry Opalescent is a popular color combination made by Fenton Glass. It was produced for many years in a variation of patterns, including Spiral Optic, Hobnail and Coin Dot.  This pitcher is in the Hobnail pattern, introduced in the 1940s and continued until the late 1970s. It is unmarked,  dating it prior to the early 1970s. It measures 4 3/4″ long from spout to handle, is 4″ wide and stands 5 3/4″ tall. It has a smooth rim and clear notched handle. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
