Fenton Rose Colonial Orange Candy Dish
$27.00
This beautiful footed candy dish is in the Rose pattern, or Cabbage Rose as it is sometimes called, and was made by Fenton from 1967-74. This particular item would have had a lid, as it has a smooth rim, while the comport rim is scalloped. It is unmarked, so would have been made before 1972, as Fenton began marking all items after that year. It is a brilliant orange color, called Colonial Orange and fades to yellow at the foot. It measures 5″ in diameter and 6 1/2″ tall to the rim, and stands on a scalloped foot. The pattern features embossed roses around the outside of the bowl. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
