Glass Scotty Dog Powder Jar

Jeannette Glass made a few different lids that fit this glass powder/candy jar from the 1930s through to the 1950s. They were animal figures in the form of a deer “Bambi”, a donkey, a Scotty dog, a french poodle, and an elephant. Many were sold to cosmetics and candy distributors to be filled and sold in five and dime stores. The Scotty dog was made in crystal, pink and iridescent marigold. This crystal Scotty dog stands 5 1/2″ high and is 3 3/4″ in diameter. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
