Hammersley Teacup and Saucer

This teacup and saucer by Hammersley and Co. is a stunning example of quality bone china! It features an Asian themed design in gold with a scalloped rim and a gold decorative rim. The cup is marked with 4-789 in gold hand writing. The Hammersley & Co mark in green is on both pieces, and was used from 1939 onwards. The cup measures 4 3/4″ long, is 3 7/8″ in diameter, and stands 3″ high on a footed base. The saucer is 5 3/4″ in diameter with a scalloped rim. Both are in excellent condition, with little or no loss to the gold trim, and no chips, cracks or crazing.
