Hazel Atlas Florentine 2 Green Relish

Florentine No 2, also known as Poppy No 2, was made by Hazel Atlas from 1932-35. Florentine No 1 was also made during this time frame, the difference being in the shapes, not the embossed pattern. Florentine No 1 has scalloped edges, while No 2 has smooth. This three part relish is an example of Florentine No 2. It has a Y shaped divide, and measures 10″ long by 6 3/8″ wide, and stands 1 1/4″ high. It fluoresces under black light because of its uranium oxide content in the glass.  It is in near mint condition, with no chips, scratches or repairs.
