Heisey Waverly Center Handled Server

Found in crystal (clear) and rarely in amber, this center handled server or sandwich tray was made by A.H. Heisey from 1940-57. It is the blank # 1519 used for the Orchid and Rose etchings, so could be readily used with those patterns, as well as on its own. It measures 14 3/8″ in diameter and is 4 1/2″ tall. It has a scalloped and beaded rim with a swirled plate, and what is sometimes referred to as a “dolphin” handle. It has a few light utensil marks, but is in otherwise excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
