L E Smith Pink Mt. Pleasant Nut Dish

Mt. Pleasant, or Double Shield, is a pattern made by L.E. Smith from 1930-40. It is line no. 525, and was made in black, blue, crystal (clear), green, rose (pink), and white. Milk glass pieces were reissued in the late 1950s. This #200 rose (pink) center handled nut dish measures 6″ in diameter and stands 2 1/2″ high. It has 6 notches in the rim, and is rim style D. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
