Rooster Salt and Pepper Shakers Japan

This collectible Rooster and Hen salt and pepper shaker set was made in Japan sometime after World War 11, probably in the 1950s. Both pieces are marked Japan in green on the bottom. The rooster measures 3 1/2″ tall by 1 1/2″ wide, with the hen being 2 1/2″ tall and the same width. Neither shaker has the original cork, but they are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
