Vintage Imperial Glass Candle Holder-Newbound

$13.00

Combined with either round or oval bowls, 2 of the No. 153 twin candle holders were part of a 3 piece console set.  This is the crystal (clear) example, but they were made in many different colors, and produced from 1933-38. The name Newbound was given to this pattern by Hazel Marie Weatherman. Although not part of the Pillar Flute line, the pattern is similar and they were usually sold together. They were reissued in milk glass from 1950-68 as No. 150/100. The swirled oval base measures 4 1/4″ long and is 3 1/2″ wide. It stands 4 3/8″ high, and is 1 7/8″ between the cups. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
